Our Mission Is to Bring Dignity to Children in Foster Care

When a child enters foster care, it’s often in the middle of chaos—and their clothes and prized possessions are placed in a garbage bag. It’s dehumanizing. It tells them they don’t matter. TAC Helping Hands is here to change that.

We provide sturdy, high-quality, specially designed duffle bags to children in Tennessee’s foster system, something they can call their own. Because every child deserves to be treated with dignity, especially in their darkest moments.

But our work doesn’t stop there. Through close relationships with DCS and other child-serving organizations, we step in when other needs arise: providing essentials like toiletries, sports gear, baby items, and more to ensure no child or foster family is left unsupported.
